Words, UX, and Espresso – The Story Behind UXpresso

Good morning / Dzień dobry / Goede morgen

How wonderful that you’re here! Take a seat, get comfortable, and look around. Perhaps you’d like a cup of rich, aromatic espresso? I serve mine with a side of sharp words, optimized content, and experiences designed to make life a little simpler.

I’m always curious about the stories people want to tell. Do your words resonate, generate, and connect with the right audience?

Because deep down, we both know - it’s never just about the product. It’s about visions, ambitions, and the narratives that weave your brand into the bigger story people will remember.

Introversion, the Creative Edition

Nice to meet you - I’m Daria.

The one with the words, ideas, scribbles, concepts, tweaks, optimizations, experiments, tests, and solutions. Phew… all in a single breath! ;)

I love words, but I also love when things work. When there’s structure and order. That strange combination comes from being a true introvert with an insatiable curiosity to learn new things.

All of that packed into a slightly neurotic, but wildly creative mind.

Not Exactly a Beginning

I started out as a ghostwriter, which, looking back, felt a bit like hopping on a rollercoaster in a creative amusement park. The craft, the learning curve, the endless experiments…It was wild.

Picture this: in one week, you’re writing a song lyric, a children’s story, a historical article, a report, and a poem. Madness. Pure, joyful madness.

Then I moved to the land of tulips, windmills, and bicycles. I had the privilege of first working as a copywriter at iBOOD and later in e‑commerce at Volero - a project I hold close to my heart.

There, I handled not just content, SEO, and UX, but also localized the entire webshop and introduced the brand to the Polish market.

Espresso – Depresso – UXpresso

Historic Gouda. We’re sitting in a tiny café, talking.

D: You know, I’m taking this new UX writing course, and it’s honestly amazing!
E: That’s great, the world really needs clear and simple communication. Coffee?
D: Hmm… I should probably cut down on caffeine…
E: Maybe just a tiny espresso?
D: Ha! You know what I really need? UXpresso!

And just like that - between a sip of coffee and another webinar - UXpresso was born. My space for creativity, for projects that truly energize me.

UXpresso grew out of a craving for change. For the freedom to work on my own terms, for curiosity about people and businesses. It was a spark, born from a long‑ripening dream: what if I could work on many different projects and be part of so many fascinating visions?

The name itself is a playful mix: UX, espresso, and a dash of Monday‑morning “depresso” - which vanishes the moment you sip a good coffee and dive into projects you truly love.

This little corner of the internet is my second home. I’m furnishing it with my experience, my words, and my passion.

Here, you’ll find stories from SEO and UX projects, reflections on creative work, and, every now and then, a quiet slice of my world - introverted, curious, and full of words.
